Ok, I got it
Hope has been in to see charlie and have had a successful mating. She is about 4 weeks on now so will be due around 26th feb. She has pinked up and started to bulk up a bit. We have started to give her queen biscuites.
The mating should produce seals and blues and patterns will be torties, colourpoints, bicolours and mitted.
2nd Feb 08:
Hope now has 3 weeks to go she is getting very big now and we are hoping we can soon feel the kittens moving.
Monday 25th Feb 08
After being anxious for the kittens to arrive and doing kitten watches through the night. Hope decided to have the kittens while I was on a works training course. She suprised my mum by having the 1st one on the sofa at 12.45pm and 2nd at 1.00pm. Think we have 1 boy and 1 girl weighting 90g and 95g they both seem happy and healthy and Hope is being a very loving mummy again.
Thursday 28th feb 08
Hopes kittens are putting on lots of weight now the boy is 131g and girl 130g but are piling it on every day. They both seem very active and happy and mum is doing a great job.
Saturday 1st March 08:
The colours are strarting to come out and the girl is a blue tortie colourpoint and boy a seal colourpoint we think.
Saturday 8th March 08:
On monday we noticed the little girl had gained no weight and didnt seem right and was breathing a bit funny. We took her to the vets and she had a check up, the vet said her heart beat was normal but when she breathed in deep it seemed to stop. She told us this is quite common in puppies but not kittens. She made us aware that it may be a big problem and may not pull through but she also couldnt say exactly what was going on so told us 2 give her 24 care. When we got her home her weight had dropped to 171g so was upset as it wasnt looking good. She is proving to be a fighter and with the constant care we have given her making sure she latched on every 2 hours and then bottle feeding every so often to top her up and giving her neutra-drops to increase her appitite she has come on really well. She now weights 239g and has her own strength to fight off her big brother and latch herself on. We went from checking her every 2 hours to then 3 hours through the night to now 4 but she is doing it herself now so hopefully she will go from strenght to strength. Fingers crossed!
The boy is doing really well, he had a check up at the vets too and was fine and he now weights 300g.

The kittens are coming on really well and touch wood the little girl is doing well. She now weights 470g and is very active running around the pen. She is such a character now and is getting to be very cheeky, she loves her cuddles and likes to play fight. We have stopped the bottle feeds and just give her maybe 1 or 2 a day as a top up. She also has had some hills ad food. She now also only has the neutra-drops in the morning and at night and we also dont check on her now through the night.
The boy is so big and is cuddly he is very chunky compaired to his sister as he weights 603g!
They are both getting such characters and enjoy their cuddles and love to come out and play on the living room floor with the other cats and dogs he even enjoys chasing our beagle!
They both venture around the pen and have started to clamber in and out of the litter tray and dunk their heads in the water and biscuits bowl.
I am planning to take the little girl back to the vets next week as she will be 5 weeks old for them to check her over again and see what is going on with her heart and hopefully the vet check will have a good result.

Little girl
Monday 31st march.
We have just got back from the vets and they are very happy with the little girl as usual was wriggling around for them to sound her heart but it sounds regular and nothing funny about it although a little fast but was probably just a excited/nervous kitten! Lets hope she keeps going strenght to strength

Wednesday 16th April 08:

Friday 2nd May 08:
The kittens are both doing well. We have had some troubles with the boy though and he will not wean but we are slowly getting there and the little girl is now coming on really well and she will eat meat.
I have sent off for them to be registered his name will be Topazicatz Blue Eyed Boy Oliver as a pet (may change).
I have decided that I am going to keep the little girl, she has such a little personality and after all the hard work my mum and I have put in we can not part with her! Her name will be Topazicatz Againstall Odds as I was told by the vet she probably wouldnt pull throught the night when I took her. Her pet name will be faith.

The kittens are now just over 19 weeks old both are doing well. Sadly Oliver developed a problem with his eyes, we thought at first he had hayfever but the treatment was not working. We began to think that it could possibly be a food allergy to wet food, we have been doing a trial on him by giving him tuna and slowly increasing the biscs in to it as they wont eat them. This seems to be working he is alot better, the swelling around his nose area has gone and slowly his eyes are becoming less swollen.
Due to this problem I have kept him longer to make sure he is 100% well he will be ready for a home soon hopefully so keep a look out.
Thursday 31st July 08: We have decided to keep Oliver. He is such a little character and has made himself at home! My mum is going to have him as he is very attached to her he follows her everywhere around the house and when ever she sits down he is soon there cuddled up on her knee.
